Nov 1, Sun - Hike the 7 mile BLUFF Trail. Meet at 10 AM at Old Cedar Ave Bridge. Directions - From MN-77 S, take the County 1/Old Shakopee Rd exit, turn south on Old Cedar Road (55425), continue to the Old Cedar Ave bridge Trailhead Parking.
This trail takes you on a loop around the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, an oasis in the middle of a major metropolitan area. The trail wraps around the Long Meadow Lake, and you'll emerge from the forest into a wetland environment. There are overlooks along the way with impressive views across the entire valley.
