Aug 20, Wed {WW} Bike the Red Cedar Trail. Meet at 10 a.m. at 840 Hudson Road, Menomonie, WI 54751. Start biking at 10:15 am. Bike from Menomonie Trailhead through Irvington and Downsville to Dunnville and back {29 miles round-trip}. Bike path goes through a valley along the beautiful Red Cedar River. Surface is flat, hard-packed dirt. Bike through wooded areas, farmland, and swamp. See rock formations, a quarry, a waterfall, and a big bridge. Bring your lunch in your bike bag. We will stop for lunch at a picnic table along the river on the way back. Menomonie is a 1-2 hour drive depending on where you live in the Twin Cities so you might want to carpool.
