July 9, Wed {WW} Forest Lake Bike Ride or Hike and BBQ. Meet at 9:15 a.m. at the Morrissey home, 8959 North Shore Trail, Forest Lake, MN 55025. Bike or hike at 9:30 a.m. Ride will be approximately 30 miles through scenic territory, with shorter distances available; hike (walk) is 4-5 miles or shorter. BBQ after ride with swimming available (bring water shoes in event of shells on the lake bottom). Brats and potato salad provided; bring appetizer, salad or dessert to share. Bring your own beverages; beer will be available. Please also bring coolers and lawn chairs. Directions: Take I-35 north to Hwy. 8, east on 8 to Greenway, right to the North Shore Trail (County Road 2), left on County Road 2 approximately 4 miles to 8959 (Morrissey's Back Acher) on the right. Park in the lot at top of hill or by the garage at the brick house.
