July 31, Wed {WW} Hike Battle Creek Bluff Corridor. Meet at 10:15 a.m. at Burns Avenue Scenic Overlook Dr., US-10 West, St. Paul, MN 55119. Start hiking at 10:30 a.m. Bring a small backpack with your picnic lunch and water inside. We will be hiking mostly on a narrow dirt hiking/biking trail, with some asphalt sections. The terrain is rolling, though fairly comfortable walking, with a few very short, very steep sections. We will go about 4 miles, stopping midway along Battle Creek to eat our lunch at the picnic tables. There is a satellite near the lunch stop. Directions: go south on Hwy 10 from Hwy 94, take the first exit south of 94 - Burns Avenue, turn left onto Burns Avenue, and then take the first right onto Scenic Overlook Drive. Park at the top of the hill in the Burns Ave Scenic Overlook Parking Lot along the rock wall.
