Dec 10, Tues {A} December Club Meeting. Meet at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 104 S Snelling Ave in St. Paul (park in lot on the north side of church). Social hour begins at 6:30 p.m. with a short business meeting and the program starting at 7:00.               
Program:   Core strength for Nordic Skiers of All Ages.  Discuss what  the term “Core “ means and what muscles are involved.  How do we strengthen those muscles? Why do we need to have a strong core for Nordic skiing or any other athletic endeavors? Come and find out and bring your questions!                                                                                                                                                      
Melissa Shirriff PT has been an avid Nordic skier for 20 yrs. She loves skiing and has completed 10 Kortelopets, 2 American Birkebeiners, and numerous other fun ski events. She also loves water sports and cycling. Her practice in physical therapy at the Institute for Athletic Medicine in Uptown includes working with injured athletes young and old. She has special interest in Nordic skiers, cyclists and runners.
