TIME CHANGE - We will need to meet at 8:45am and leave by 9am as the Kayak rental want the kayak at North Mississippi Regional Park by noon. Kayak from Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park 10360 West River Road, Brooklyn Park, to North Mississippi Regional Park at 10:00 AM for a 7.5 mile paddle. You must reserve you own kayak to use one of the park owned kayaks.
You may bring your own kayak.
How do I reserve a kayak?
1. Go to http://paddleshare.org/
2. Scroll to the bottom of the website
3. Click the "Make a Reservation" button at the bottom of this section that corresponds to the location you’d like to start your trip (Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park)
Rent a single-person or tandem kayak (for $25 or $40, respectively, for three hours) at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park and paddle 7.5 miles to the return stations located at North Mississippi Regional Park. All kayaks and equipment must be returned to the appropriate locker at North Mississippi Regional Park.
We will transport you (no kayaks) back to your car at Coon Rapids Dam Park after the paddle.
