Looking for volunteers to work one day a month at the Food Group facility in New Hope. We usually volunteer from 9:30 a.m. to noon, packaging produce.
This fall hike at Wood Lake Nature Center.Meet at the entrance to the park. We’ll walk on wood-chip paths through the woods so we might see some wildlife. Flashlights might be a good idea. After the hike, refreshments at one of the local restaurants.
Lebanon Hills Regional Park Visitors Center
Meet at the visitors‘ center on Schulze Lake, 860 Cliff Road in Eagan, at 10:00 a.m.; begin hiking at 10:15. The Voyageur Trek loop takes about two hours. Bring water and a bag lunch.
Theodore Wirth Park Beach
Prepare for the ski season. Bring your poles and climb the hills of Theodore Wirth Park by using your arms and legs.
Mileage options of 21, 22 or 24 miles. Bike Maple Grove & Plymouth streets & trls. Bike past Eagle, Arbor, N Arbor, W Arbor, Rice, Fish, Edward & Camelot Lakes. Bike over 12 boardwalks & 3 trail bridges.
Como Zoo and Conservatory

Meet at 1 pm at Ski Shelter at Lake Elmo Park Reserve to try geocaching. No experience or equipment necessary. Hiking required to find caches. Washington County park daily permit of $7 for car required for park entry.
Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park
Meet 1:45pm, bike at 2:00 from W Side Coon Rapids Dam Park. Mileage 22, 23. or 24 miles. Bike city st & trails of Champlin, Anoka & Coon Rapids. Bike thru Coon Rapids Dam Park, Peninsula Point Park, Riverside Park, Rivers Bend Park, and other parks.
