Al Mayer is leading a hike in Golden Valley that starts about a mile and a half from where Lois Carlson‘s bike ride begins. If you are not up to doing Lois‘ ride, why not join him in an interesting 2.5 mile hike that starts in Medley Hill Park.

Explore some bike trails in Hastings as well as the new extension of The Great River Trail that is a conquest of modern engineering over some very difficult terrain. Some very nice rest stops offer commanding vistas of the Mississippi River.
